These sweet holiday ornaments are made from white stoneware and glazed with Amaco's Art Deco Green, which creates a minty green finish with darker crystalized areas in some places. They are handmade using a stamp out of a slab of clay, however the beautiful glaze will give each individual ornament a unique look based on application thickness and kiln placement.
They are approx 3" in size, all heart-shaped and come ready-to-hang with a delightful twine loop.
About the spell: The Àstarstafur is a love stave attributed to the Galdraskræða Skugga ~ an Icelandic spell book from the 1940s. The book is a collection of the old Icelandic spells, the first one ever published in Iceland. It is written by the author Jochum M. Eggertson who is better known under his pen name “Skuggi”, meaning “shadow”. Galdraskræða, which was illustrated and handwritten by the author. They should lead to keeping an existing love rather than being able to find a new one, therefore make the perfect gift for a loved one.

Care instructions
All pots are food, microwave and oven safe unless otherwise noted. Food-safe pots are dishwasher safe but can be fragile so top rack is advised. Glazes used are 100% lead-free. Due to the fragile nature of materials, sleeping in ceramic jewelry is not advised.
Custom and personalized orders
Allow up to 8 weeks for completion of custom or personalized orders. Communication is important, so messages back and forth regarding customization details will also include timeline updates!
