These hexagonal garlic graters are made by hand from stoneware, shaped and carved, then fired to cone 6 so that the clay body is food safe and fully vitrified (water-proof). This batch is made with Standard 112 Speckled Buff clay body, for a warm toasty brown underlying a beautiful green glaze.
Because these are handmade in small batches, the dish received may differ slightly from the associated photo.
The size is approximately 5" across at widest points, with slightly-raised edges.
Essentially, you would take a peeled clove of garlic and scrape it across the center texture to grate it into minced garlic. Add it from here to any recipe or leave it in the dish, add some herbs and olive oil, and dip some yummy fresh bread for a great, quick snack. This also works great for ginger, nutmeg and dried herbs.

Care instructions
All pots are food, microwave and oven safe unless otherwise noted. Food-safe pots are dishwasher safe but can be fragile so top rack is advised. Glazes used are 100% lead-free. Due to the fragile nature of materials, sleeping in ceramic jewelry is not advised.
Custom and personalized orders
Allow up to 8 weeks for completion of custom or personalized orders. Communication is important, so messages back and forth regarding customization details will also include timeline updates!
Gift wrapping and packaging
